You’ll have your choice of In-person classroom, Remote/virtual or pre-recorded classroom, complete online or self study options for your training. Books and peripheral food safety materials too!

Deborah Wright is the Founder of Wright Food Training and Consulting. She holds dual status as a Certified ServSafe Instructor, as well as a ServSafe Registered Examination Proctor.  With over 4 Decades in Management and Senior Management Operations and 26 of those years in food service in one aspect or another, she has definitely earned her stripes! Oh hey.. speaking of stripes, Deborah is also a proud United States Marine Corps Veteran. Deb started her career in advertising and television production. In the late 90’s, after becoming ServSafe Certified for the first time and with her unique talent for culinary arts and vast knowledge of World cuisine she embraced an opportunity to enter the world of restaurant and food service management. Since that time she has spent her career managing restaurants large and small, honed her business acumen and chef skills, owned a French pastry/custom cake patisserie, Managed extreme high-volume tourist destination restaurants, directed School District food/nutrition, managed USDA nutrition programs focusing on State and Federal regulatory compliance, Sat on the MDE Food and nutrition advisory board, as well as ultimately becoming a Certified ServSafe instructor and registered examination proctor leading to the founding of Wright Food Training. She’s friendly and approachable and that’s going to make your training and interactions with the company satisfying.

Here’s a bit of friendly advice; When comparing different companies for your training options, keep in mind that there are many “Safe food training” organizations available, however, ServSafe brand is well known to be the gold standard in food safety training and is recognized and respected all around the world. Wright Food Training provides only ServSafe courses and curriculum exclusively. While other training companies may offer Prometric, Tap series or other “versions” of Safe food training, it’s wise to be certain that you are comparing apples to apples and not apples to oranges when it comes to your all important training needs and don’t just look at price.
